The famous adage a picture tells a thousand words best describes the work that we do. Throughout our daily lives, we are constantly bombarded with snapshot images that speak to us. The images we create at Ignite Photos tell their own story and we hope reflect the professional quality we seek to achieve.

Ignite Photos is founded and operated by professional internationally published photographer Michael Palmer.  Based in Southampton, Hampshire, Ignite Photos frequently travels across the whole of the UK and into Europe.  Central London is accessible in 80 minutes.  Wherever you are, distance is no problem.

Ignite Photos specialise in making the most of natural and available lighting to take the perfect shot.  Where possible, natural light is made use of in all photographic shots and is used almost exclusively in portrait sessions. We aim to create a natural look, taken in familiar surroundings, to enhance the characteristic features of any building or landscape.

Who is Michael Palmer?
In 2006 I made the decision to turn my passion for photography into a full-time career.  Two years on I find myself on a journey that is extremely rewarding professionally, creatively and personally.  Becoming a member of several business networking groups including BNI Southampton Solent and 4Networking has contributed to this process.

I have an extensive background of working at some of the world’s most prestigious fitness and bodybuilding events including the Arnold (Schwarzenegger) Classic, GNC Show of Strength, Bikini America, Fitness America, and Musclemania.

I also have considerable experience in the modelling sector having worked with over 500 models, encompassing both fitness models and commercial models.

My photographic work has been published numerous times in fitness publications such as Musclemag, Planet Muscle, American Curves and Oxygen.
